Wild Card Brewery Unite Tribute IPA (5.4%)

Brewed on International Women’s Day as part of the IWCBD, an initiative that is trying to help more women get into the brewing industry, this is a very good, if rather subtle IPA.
It pours a hazy gold and smells of apricots and flower borders, and taking a swig you initially find peaches and apricots, green herbal leaves, nettle tea and a little rolling tobacco form the hops before the malt body sneaks out, giving you caramel and shortcake, honey and Rich Tea biscuits.
The hazy yeast adds its own stone fruit flavours and the beer finishes long and crisp and bitter.
Good stuff for a good cause.
