Newbarns Brewery Oat Lager Beer (4.8%)

Newbarns are based in Edinburgh and call themselves, “Brewers Of Leith,” but this beer at least, has been contract brewed by Burnt Mill, making it a beer of Suffolk.
So I’m not altogether sure whether or not to say that this, as my first experience of Newbarns, is very good or, that as usual Burnt Mill have brewed something of great quality.
Either way, this is a super little Lager with an oat heavy bill for extra creamy goodness.
You find all the things you want to find, honey and caramel, garden flowers, mown lawns and nettle tea.
I for one like this very much indeed.
