Twisted Barrel Ale Marching Home (8%)

Marching Home is a brilliant Double IPA.
Pouring a thick, dense peach juice gold with a fluffy little head, the aroma is rhubarb and custard sweets and honeysuckle.
The malting here is super soft and subtle, caramel and runny honey, waffles, ice cream cones and pancakes, while the Verdant yeast brings peach stones and apricot skins wrapped in a spicy fungal fug.
And while all this is going on the Amarillo, Simcoe and Citra hops combine to give you lemon sherbet, lime zest, Orange marmalade, rolling tobacco and pithy herbal leaves.
And all of this is powered along by a deliciously warm and clean hit of booze.
Super.
