One of UnBarred’s Ltd Edition specials, this is a Bavarian Wheat Beer with the added excitement of Idaho 7 hops.
And as with pretty much everything UnBarred do, this is very good indeed.
You find all those Weiss flavours in here, lightly spiced bananas, creamy Rich Tea biscuits, salty runny honey and bread dough from the malts along with a warm earthy yeasty underbelly.
Over this the hops absolutely shine, from the bright citrus and deep green foliage of the aroma to the freshly mown lawns, lemon sherbet, melon and kiwi that leaves a sharp bitter finish, Idaho 7 are just lovely in this beer.
