Solvay Society Shine Upon Thee (11%)

Now this is something very special indeed.
Shine Upon Thee is a Golden Tripel brewer with Nelson Sauvin and vanilla extract.
It’s an enormous, sexy and yet warm and comfortable beer.
The aroma is spicy nutmeg and peaches, and the body of the beer is round and chewy, all toffee and pancakes, brandy snaps, runny honey, Belgian waffles and maple syrup.
The Nelson Sauvin really stand up to all the sticky malt weight, popping and glistening with gooseberries and herbal greenery, white grape skins and lime zest.
The vanilla extract hums along in the background, adding a velvety ice cream sweetness to the big boozy finish.
